Meet Our Clinical Team

Nene Valley Diagnostics is not a clinic, but rather a carefully selected group of the best doctors and clinical scientists in the region, working together as a hub connecting synergies between them. This carefully selected group brings together exceptional expertise to provide the highest quality cardiac imaging and patient care.

All echocardiograms at Nene Valley Diagnostics are performed by Diogo Martins, an experienced registered clinical scientist who is an expert in echocardiography and cardiac diagnostics. Diogo is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and has extensive experience in hospital-based cardiac diagnostics. We work closely with consultant cardiologists to ensure expert interpretation and clinical oversight of all scans.

BSc (Hons), MSc in Echocardiography, TTE (Transthoracic Echocardiography) & TOE (Transoesophageal Echocardiography) EACVI accredited. HCPC registered, with expertise in advanced echocardiography, stress echo, and structural heart procedures.

All echocardiograms at Nene Valley Diagnostics are performed by Diogo Martins, a highly specialised cardiac clinical scientist with extensive expertise in echocardiography and cardiac diagnostics. Diogo has experience managing echocardiography departments at Milton Keynes University Hospital and Royal Papworth Hospital.
